Although it may not appear this way, sugar cane is actually a tall perennial grass. Commonly known for its use in the world’s sugar production, it also makes a tasty sweet treat. The tall stalks have a hard exterior that covers a sweet pulp, which can be ground to make sugar cane juice or eaten directly.
We recommend trying sugar cane juice with a dash of ginger and lemon.
